Who We Are
Trusses Unlimited was established out of practical necessity observed directly in real construction environments. The company was founded on more than a decade of hands-on wood framing expertise , during which truss-related challenges were encountered and addressed in real time and under real jobsite conditions.
When truss dimensions align with field conditions, framing progresses smoothly. When they do not, the consequences are severe. Dimensional discrepancies discovered after framing has begun can halt work entirely, requiring additional engineering, disrupting schedules, and driving up costs at a stage when corrective options are extremely limited.
Transportation presents an additional challenge on certain projects. Large-span trusses combined with relatively compact building footprints can increase delivery, hoisting, and crane costs. Mountain sites, rural properties, and locations with narrow, winding, or unpaved roads often cannot accommodate long semi-trucks or oversized trailers required to deliver factory-built trusses. In contrast, dimensional lumber can typically be transported to these sites without issue.
Recognizing these conditions, Trusses Unlimited developed a fabrication approach that addresses dimensional accuracy, transportation limitations, and installation risk. What began as a solution for challenging and remote job sites is now applied across a range of projects—including standard residential construction where transportation access is not a limiting factor.
“Our focus is straightforward: to produce structurally sound, professionally manufactured wood trusses that fit real jobsite conditions and provide confidence when field conditions differ from the plans.”
